Upgrade Shrine Guide

Each character can use the Upgrade Shrine exactly once. Pick one skill — it gains +2 levels instantly without spending Skill Points.

This is separate from the Statue Mystery shrine (individual skill refunds) and Hogyoku wishes (full toolbar reset). The Upgrade Shrine is a permanent power spike if you choose wisely.

Best picks: your main damage skill, expensive SP nodes, or transformation abilities (Shikai, Resurrección, Schrift). Avoid situational one-off skills.

Step 1: Find Pratz in Everwhite Enclave (Arctic Plains safe zone). He introduces Lady Hikari and the Upgrade Shrine quest.

Step 2: Travel to The Northern Library in Arctic Plains. Rose is in the back-right room — talk to her to formally start the shrine chain.

Defeat Lord Nivis in Arctic Plains to obtain the Frostvein Crystal quest item. Drop is not guaranteed — repeat kills may be required.

Lord Nivis spawns on odd hours at XX:20 (same clock pattern as Masked Warrior). Plan your session around the timer.

Frostwalker charm drops from Lord Nivis — a strong T2 Kido/frost charm for Arctic builds.

Step 4: Enter the cave near Everwhite Enclave with the Frostvein Crystal. Lady Hikari guides the final trial.

Step 5: Defeat the Gelid Dweller — summoned with Frostvein Shards on Arctic Plain. Once beaten, the Upgrade Shrine activates for one free +2 skill upgrade.

High SP cost skills save the most points — check your tree before committing.

Transformation powers (Shikai/Res/Schrift actives) benefit from +2 levels in endgame PvP.

Do not waste the shrine on mobility passives you rarely use — this is a once-per-character decision.
