Craft your Gas Mask, breathe toxic fumes, and survive toads plus King Croc until Arctic Plains.

Gas Mask Crafting — Entry Requirement
Main quest sends you to The Marsh around level 20-25. You cannot breathe toxic air without a Gas Mask.
Craft the mask from Alloys and creature drops — Spirit Alloy, Scorpion Venom, and Lizard Blood are the usual trio (check quest log for exact recipe).
Farm lizards in starter villages for blood, scorpions for venom, and alloy from outlined quest steps.

Marsh Hazards — Toads & Poison
Marsh toads hit extremely hard for their level bracket. If undergeared, run — do not try to farm them solo early.

Party up for quest mobs; solo players should stick to quest path NPCs and skip optional toad camps.

Level 25 Unlock & Exit Route
By the Marsh you should approach level 25 — Shikai, Resurrección, or Schrift meditation becomes available.
Complete marsh main + side quests for XP, then transition to Arctic Plains (~Lv.35 cliff quest) for safer farming.
Power XP alternative: marsh toads at ~Lv.35 for hardcore grinders (not standard route).
