Best Kido Build For Every Race
Corgi's full Kido node routes for all three races — early-game paths, endgame skill essences, Fragments, and the 400 Reserves spam meta. Run away and press abilities.
// Guide Summary
Kido builds across all races share the 400 Reserves meta — max Reatsu to spam abilities and run away. Arrancar: max Cero tree + Cero Hollow Traits + Grand Ray Cero endgame essence. Shinigami: Saken rushdown, Rikujokoro stun, Ryujin Jakka dragon volley, Kurikara essence endgame. Quincy: Still Silver homing arrow (disables regen + transformations), Blood Artery for +15% M1, skip the bow weapon node. Fragments and Skill Essences are rare — plan early nodes first.
Quick Reference
| Resource | Priority | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Reserves | 400 points | Spam abilities without running dry |
| Fragments | Rare — plan carefully | Only 5-6 available early; prioritize key nodes |
| Skill Essences | Endgame unlocks | Grand Ray Cero, Kurikara, Radiant Edge |
| Hollow Traits | Max Cero traits | Arrancar only — damage, width, range |
The 400 Reserves Meta

Every Kido build in this guide centers on 400 Reserves — maximum Reatsu allocation so you can spam abilities and kite without running dry. The playstyle: don't M1, run away, press abilities.
Fragments (5-6 available early) and Skill Essences (endgame rare drops) modify key nodes. Don't expect full endgame essences at the start — the early node paths below are what you run for most of your progression.
Sensory nodes in each tree are optional — Corgi notes you can remove sensory points and redistribute to core damage nodes if preferred.
Key Tips
- ▸400 Reserves = Kido spam foundation
- ▸Run away + ability spam > M1 trading
- ▸Fragments are rare — budget carefully
- ▸Skill Essences = late-game power spikes
Arrancar Kido — Cero Spam Build

Core path: Bala (basic, no levels needed) → max Cero tree → Kido Mode scaling node → Hollow Cutter → Sepultur. Get Cero damage nodes that increase size (at cost of startup/cooldown) for maximum AoE coverage.
Hollow Traits: max Cero traits for damage, width, and range. Add a Resurrection Length trait if available. Finger Cero for close-range rushdown — Shrine Refund nodes let you swap between Finger Cero and Hollow Cutter investment.
Unpredictable Cero: press counter while charging to delay 0.75s at reduced damage — baits parries. Endgame essences: Grand Ray Cero (best Cero ability, massive AoE) and Radiant Edge (dash-forward swing with range).
This is a tanky runaway build — 8 points in Cero plus Cero trait stacking. Your biggest damage comes from Cero spam and Grand Ray Cero when unlocked.
Key Tips
- ▸Max Cero tree + Cero Hollow Traits
- ▸Unpredictable Cero baits enemy parries
- ▸Grand Ray Cero = endgame best Cero
- ▸Don't M1 — run and spam Ceros

Shinigami Kido — Control & Burst

Early nodes: Byakurai (aftershock on hit — prioritize Fragments here at level 4) → Sai (hand bind, weak vs higher-level opponents) → Shō (knockback while enemies are knocked down).
Stat spread: 400 Reserves default, or 200 Reserves / 100 Haste / 100 Potency for faster cooldown cycling. Saken at level 6 enables rushdown after launching opponents — Corgi's favorite mid-tree pickup.
Mid-late path: Rikujokoro (six light beams, movement restriction stun) → Reactive Barrier → Hainawa (Reatsu steal tendrils) → Ryujin Jakka (summon dragons to mouse position — Type Soul-style purple dragon volley).
Endgame essence: Kurikara in a Skill Box — one of the highest damage Shinigami moves but rare to obtain early. Skill Essences remain scarce until endgame farming becomes accessible to all players.
Key Tips
- ▸Byakurai aftershock = best Fragment target
- ▸Saken level 6 = rushdown after launch
- ▸Ryujin Jakka = dragon volley burst
- ▸Kurikara essence = endgame damage spike
Quincy Kido — Still Silver & Blood Artery

Anchor node: Still Silver — homing arrow. Level 3 disables Reatsu regeneration on hit. Level 5 disables transformations for a significant duration. This single ability defines the build's PvP value.
Skip the bow weapon node (Conjure Weapon) — switching to bow costs too much Reatsu and isn't worth the investment. Stats: 400 Kido + 400 Reserves.
Shrine Refund Ratio Flash (blinding) to reclaim points. Invest in Großer Sternschnitt (giant sword AoE), Reisig Grief (grab + AoE slam), and Blood Artery for +15% M1 damage — giving both strong Kido and melee pressure.
Flurry Solen (holy fire pillars) for damage. Late nodes: Licht's Term (bow barrage) and Spirit Bow upgrade. Radiant Edge is the Quincy skill essence option but Corgi doesn't recommend removing Still Silver transformation disable for it.
Key Tips
- ▸Still Silver Lv.5 = disable transformations
- ▸Skip bow weapon node — too much Reatsu
- ▸Blood Artery = +15% M1 damage
- ▸Shrine Refund weak nodes for better picks
